CAMP DIRECTOR
Audra Kaplan, Psy.D.
Dr. Kaplan has been involved in day and residential camp programs, as a camper, counselor, educator, director and most recently as a camp consultant. Dr. Kaplan received her doctorate of psychology from The Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 1996. She has worked with JCFS since 1997. Dr. Kaplan has provided individual, family and group psychotherapy; psychological assessment; supervision and training of graduate students; workshops on clinical supervision; camp consultation; and consultation services to schools and early childhood programs. She has consulted around issues of inclusion of children with developmental and social disorders. In addition to working at JCFS, Dr. Kaplan is the mother of 4 children and has a private practice in clinical psychology.
ASSISTANT CAMP DIRECTOR
Andrew Rosenbloom, Psy.D.
Dr. Rosenbloom has been involved in day and overnight camp programs, as a camper, counselor, consultant and now as assistant director to Camp Firefly. His passion for Camp Firefly led him to organize an annual fundraiser for scholarships and resources for the camp. Dr. Rosenbloom received his masters and doctorate of psychology from The Illinois School of Professional Psychology. He has been working with children, adolescents, adults, and families for over ten years. Clinical experience includes working at Children’s Memorial Hospital, The Sonia Shankman Orthogenic School at The University of Chicago, Jewish Child & Family Services, Connections Day School, Counseling Connections, and Psychological Consultations. Currently, Dr. Rosenbloom has private practice in clinical psychology where he provides individual and family therapy as well as psychological assessments. He is also a youth sport and camp consultant.
